SHEET G-003 · ABOUT

A technologist on a mission to modernize engineering.

redline was born from a simple question: why do brilliant engineers still review hundred-page drawing sets line by line, while every other industry has been transformed by AI? It was time to fix that.

“I'm not a PE. I'm a builder. After watching engineers spend nights and weekends catching the same kinds of errors over and over, I knew the right tools could give them their time back. redline is that tool: built with PEs, for PEs, by someone obsessed with making engineering work better.”

Engineers deserve better tools. It's that simple.

WHY REDLINE EXISTS

Software has transformed industries from law to medicine to finance. Engineering review work, somehow, has been left behind. PEs still print sets, mark them with red pens, scan them back in, and email PDFs around. The drawings are digital. The review process isn't.

redline changes that. The AI does the tedious first pass; the engineer makes the calls. Decisions and disputes are logged against the drawing, and the report carries the engineer's stamp.

Built in close collaboration with licensed PEs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines, redline is shaped by real review work happening on real projects right now. The platform learns from every engineer who uses it: each dispute and approval feeds back into how it flags the next set.

There's a long way to go. We're building it one firm at a time.
