redline performs AI-powered review of MEP drawing PDFs across six modes: General Review, Clash Detection, Code Compliance, Annotation Review, Coordination Check, and Detail Review. Each mode produces a defect list that you can approve, ignore, or dispute. The final report carries your PE stamp and signature. Today, PDF drawings only. Discipline (mechanical, electrical, plumbing or fire protection) is detected from the filename. Native DWG, IFC, and Revit support is planned but not yet built.

One analysis takes a set of up to 100 pages, and the file itself must be 45 MB or smaller. Both are per analysis, not per month, so a larger project is split across runs. If your typical construction document set runs past 100 sheets, tell us at support@redline.best before you buy, because that is the number we size against real usage.

Accuracy varies by mode and drawing complexity. The dispute system exists precisely because no AI is perfect. When the system flags something that's wrong, the engineer logs why, and those disputes feed continuous improvement. We don't publish a single accuracy number because the honest answer depends entirely on what you're reviewing.

No. redline is a review assistant that flags potential defects. You decide what's real. Your PE stamp is the legal authority on the drawing. redline gives you better tooling and a written record of your decisions, not absolution. Upload an image of your seal once. Draw your signature in the app. When you export a PDF report, both are placed on the document. The seal, signature, and review record are written into the report at export time.

You click Dispute. A short menu asks why: not applicable, already addressed via RFI, wrong code reference, false positive, or other. Your reasoning is preserved with the drawing. That dispute also helps the system learn over time.

Drawings are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Each user can only see files they've uploaded under strict per-user access controls. Your drawings are never used for training and never shared between firms.

Not yet. SOC 2 Type II is a 6 to 12 month audit and is on our roadmap for 2027. Our underlying hosting platform is itself SOC 2 Type II certified.

Data is hosted in the United States, in a US-East region, on a managed PostgreSQL database with object storage. Drawings live in private buckets keyed to each user's UUID.

Pick a plan on the pricing page and check out. Access is immediate, no waitlist and no sales call required. Every monthly plan starts with a 14-day free trial that includes two reviews. We take a card but charge nothing on the day you sign up, so you can run real sheets before you decide. If you are a multi-office firm or need a custom review pool, or want SSO or API access when they ship, that is the Enterprise path: tell us about your firm and we will size it on a short call.

redline is sold as a plan: a monthly fee that includes a set pool of drawing reviews (10, 30, or 100 per month on Starter, Pro, and Firm), plus an Enterprise plan sized to you. One review runs one drawing set in any of the six modes. Need more in a month? Add reviews at your plan rate, or move up a tier. Pay monthly, or pay yearly and get two months free. A review is drawn from your pool when a run starts, and is not counted if the run fails. Plans renew automatically until you cancel.

Cancel: any plan, any time, from your billing settings or by emailing support@redline.best. No cancellation fee, no minimum term. Cancelling stops your next renewal charge and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the account closes and access stops. We keep your drawings and reports for a further 90 days: email support@redline.best from the account address and we will send you a copy, or restart a plan and pick up where you left off. After 90 days they are permanently deleted. Trial: monthly plans start with a 14-day free trial, so there is usually nothing to refund. Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged. Once the plan has started, payments already made are not refunded; you cancel and keep access to the end of the period you paid for. Annual plans are charged on signup and are non-refundable, as are added reviews bought on top of a plan pool. If you were charged in error, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after a valid cancellation, that is separate: contact us within 60 days and we will correct it. No. The 14-day free trial covers monthly plans only, on every tier. Annual plans are charged on the day you sign up and are non-refundable, because the two months you save are what the annual commitment buys. If you want to try it first, start on monthly. You can switch to annual at any point once you know the tool works for your sheets.

Two sheets is enough to see whether the output is worth anything, and the limit keeps the trial from being used to run a whole project through for free. If you use both before the 14 days are up, you can start your plan early from your billing settings and your full monthly pool is added straight away, or wait and it starts on its own at the end of the trial. A run that fails on our end does not count toward the two, the same way it does not draw from your monthly pool.

Not without notice. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase takes effect on your account, and the new price applies at your next renewal after that. If you do not want to pay it, cancel before that date.

No. Your monthly review pool resets at the start of each billing period, so plan for your typical volume and add reviews as needed in a busy month. Reviews are held per user today; pooling one firm-wide balance across all your engineers is planned but not yet built.
