Plain English
We would rather be direct about this than bury it. Redline is sold as a subscription. When you buy a plan, your card is charged at the start of every billing period until you tell us to stop.
If you buy a monthly plan and it is not what you hoped, tell us within 14 days and we will refund you in full. The one condition is that you have started two or fewer reviews. Two sheets is enough to see whether the output is any good, and the cap is there so the guarantee cannot be used to push a whole project through and then ask for the money back. It applies on Starter, Pro, and Firm alike.
Annual plans do not carry a money-back guarantee. The two free months are what the annual commitment buys. If you want the refund window, start on monthly and switch to annual once you know the tool works for you.
Whatever plan you are on, there is no contract to get out of, no minimum term, and no fee for leaving. Cancel from your billing settings whenever you want and you keep access until the period you paid for runs out.
Automatic renewal
All Redline plans renew automatically:
- Monthly plans renew every month on the anniversary of your purchase date
- Annual plans renew every twelve months on the anniversary of your purchase date
By purchasing a plan you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method the then-current plan fee on that recurring schedule until you cancel. You are charged the full plan fee for each period whether or not you use any of the drawing reviews it includes.
We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice by email before any price increase takes effect for your account. A price change applies at your next renewal after that notice period. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal date.
When you can get a refund
How it works in practice:
- The window runs from your first payment on a new subscription, not from a renewal and not from a later plan change
- Ask by emailing support@redline.best from the address on the account. We check your run count and process it, usually the same business day
- Refunds return to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank
- Your subscription is cancelled at the same time and access ends immediately. Export anything you want to keep before you ask for the refund; if you have already been refunded, email support@redline.best within 90 days and we will send you a copy
- This is available once per firm. Resubscribing later does not open a second window
A review counts toward the two as soon as a run starts. A run that fails for technical reasons on our side does not count, the same way it does not draw from your monthly pool.
When you cannot
Outside the monthly plan guarantee above, fees paid for Redline are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Specifically:
- Annual plans, on every tier. The two free months are what the annual commitment buys. If you want the flexibility of a refund window, pay monthly
- Renewals. Only the first payment on a new subscription is covered. Every renewal after it is final
- Any monthly plan once you pass either limit. Past 14 days, or after a third review has started, the payment is final
- Additional reviews purchased on top of your plan pool, at any tier. These are consumed on purchase and are never refundable
- Partial billing periods, including when you cancel part-way through a period
- Unused reviews that expire at the end of a billing period
- Periods you were subscribed but did not use. Not logging in is not grounds for a refund
Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of the state or country where you live, where those rights cannot be waived.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
- In the app: open your account billing settings and cancel your subscription
- By email: write to support@redline.best from the email address on the account, and we will process it
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. It stops the next automatic charge. It does not refund the period you are already in. Until that period ends you keep full access to Redline and to the reviews remaining in your pool.
If you cancel and then change your mind before the period ends, you can resume the plan without losing your drawings library.
Unused reviews
Each plan includes a pool of drawing reviews for the billing period. A review is drawn from your pool when a run starts. If a run fails for technical reasons on our side, it is not counted against your pool.
Unused reviews do not roll over. Your pool resets at the start of each billing period, and expired reviews are not refunded or credited. If your volume is consistently lower than your plan, move down a tier rather than letting reviews expire. If it is consistently higher, moving up a tier is cheaper than buying added reviews.
Billing errors
This is separate from the no-refund policy above. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@redline.best within sixty (60) days of the charge. We will investigate and correct any error we confirm, including:
- Duplicate charges for the same billing period
- Charges made after a valid cancellation
- Charges at a rate other than the one published for your plan and billing period
- Charges to an account you did not authorize
If we cancel or shut down
If we terminate your account because you violated our Terms of Service, no refund is due.
If we discontinue Redline entirely, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid annual plan on a prorated basis for whole remaining months, and we will give you a reasonable window to export your drawings, reports, and review records before access ends.
